Mix desired amount of corn syrup (blood) with red food coloring. A tiny bit of blue food coloring will make it look more realistic. Add a tiny bit of milk if you don't like the transparency. WA-LA! You're bleeding...
Here is another version of how to make fake blood. Mix red powder kool-aid with palmalive dish soap. I haven't tried this one, but it is supposed to work.
